We are glad to hear that you have enjoyed the prime location of the hotel within the city and were able to encounter a memorable time in Nuremberg. When they found out we were checking out early the next day for our trip to Prague, since the breakfast room was not open yet, they actually prepared a take away breakfast with 2 sandwiches, fruit and coffee. Breakfast was included and was substantial. Good and free WiFi (hard to believe that there are still places that charge for WiFi ). We just made sure that we booked hotels that had an option for a 24-48 hour option for cancellation which costs more but gives you more options. We like so many had to constantly adjust to the situation that changed by the day from city to city. For instance we went to Strasbourg from Munich and we decided to take a quick train ride to Frankfurt. We decided to chase Christmas markets during our German stay. The Christmas Market was cancelled just before we got there but there is so much else to investigate in this lovely walkable city. We were able to get a Green Pass even as a US citizen by getting a Swiss Pass first. You do have to show proof of immunization. Staff was wonderful and spoke perfect English. The instructions from the website and the email that they send you are crystal clear.
You literally walk down a covered tunnel up a slight incline and turn left. Plus this time we were arriving by train from Munich and you really cannot get any closer to the Nurnberg Hbf. There was nothing wrong with that hotel except it was much more expensive than Hotel Victoria.
